The Consumer Warranty Act enacted in 1970 is the law that protects consumers who purchase or lease a new motorized vehicle. The law enacted in 1970 obligates manufacturers or bodies that represent the manufacturer of the purchased motor vehicle to meet and satisfy the terms of warranty specified in the contractual agreement.
